Overview
Automotive Stampings and Assemblies manufactures sheet metal components, welded assemblies and modules for automobiles. The product range includes Body-In-White (BIW) structural panels, Skin panels, Fuel tanks, Rear Twist Beam, Oil sumps & Suspension parts for Automobile & off-highway vehicle segments. ASAL was incorporated as a Public Limited Company under the Companies Act, 1956 on March 13, 1990 and subsequently, on August 1, 2003 the name was changed to Automotive Stampings and Assemblies Limited. Presently, Tata AutoComp Systems holds 75% stake in the Company and balance 25% is held by the Public.

MANUFACTURING FACILITIES
Automotive Stampings and Assemblies Ltd. has the extensive manufacturing capability to meet the present and future demands of a large segment of the automotive industry.
The company has four large-sized manufacturing plants in Western India & Northen India with a total capability to supply nearly 30,000 tonnes of components and assemblies a year.
With a range of presses – hydraulic and mechanical, single acting and double action – and other required equipment of international standard, the plants have complete capabilities for making complex sheet metal components of different sizes.
